Big Thicket Softworks is a company of Christian men and their families, working together in Southeast Texas. We didn't start this company just to make software — we started it because we believe good, honest work is one of the ways we get to serve God.
We work for an audience of One.
Every man on this team is a Christian, and most of us are building this company alongside our own families rather than apart from them. We're here because we believe God calls His people to work with excellence, not because a market opportunity told us to. Software happens to be the trade He's equipped us for, so it's the trade we bring before Him. Our aim, in plain terms, is to win the world for Christ — and to let the way we build software be one small part of how we do that.

Colossians 3:23 tells believers to work at everything as if they were working for the Lord rather than for people. We take that seriously in a practical, unglamorous way — it's why we chase down the harder bug instead of shipping around it, why we answer support emails ourselves, and why "good enough" isn't a phrase you'll hear from us.
